Decathlon asked us to design a new concept for their touring e-bike range. The central idea was to foster an internal collaboration between its two sub-brands, Rockrider and Quechua, to combine cycling and camping into one accessible object. TentBike makes bike camping accessible to people with all types of experience in the sport. The tent is stored inside the frame while riding, and when parked, the bicycle frame becomes the supporting structure of the tent. Designed as a rental system, the product could be picked up at a Decathlon store, fully equipped with all necessary camping gear packed in bike bags.
